My name is Dylan.
I’m a middle school teacher with an after-school film photography club, doctoral student, and hobbyist photographer. I made this blog in order to record my thoughts, learning, experiences, and reflections as I continue to shoot film and develop images by hand. In a sense, the images I create and share are a literal and figurative reflection of who I am and who I continue to become. At the same time, I also enjoy using this medium to share and showcase the work of others in the film photography community.
If you like what you see on the website, you can also follow my photographic work on Instagram.

If there is anything on this blog that has caught your attention or raised a curiosity, I would love to start a dialogue. Would you like to feature a body of your work, a zine or physical piece of work, or develop your own film? Maybe you want to write about another film-related topic. perhaps you just want to show off your camera collection or current camera rotation.
